What to include
Include the app version, device model, iOS version, steps to reproduce the problem, and what you expected. Remove private details from screenshots. Do not send passwords, access codes, or a full backup unless we have discussed why and how to share it safely.
Create and share a packet
Add profiles for kids, pets, home, plants, or yard, plus relevant contacts and an optional recipient name. Review and save a packet, then share PDF or text to your chosen destination. Recipients do not need the app.
Why a saved packet shows older information
Saved packets are dated snapshots. Profile edits do not rewrite them. After updating instructions, create and review a new packet, then send it and ask recipients to replace their old copy.
Deleting a packet
Deleting a saved packet preserves profiles, drafts, and other snapshots. Shared PDFs and text remain. Deleting the app through iOS removes local app data; offloading keeps it. Save a backup first if you want to restore later.
Photos and sample content
Select photos with the system picker; there is no camera feature. For missing photos, reselect them and check free storage. The fictional sample packet does not save personal profile information.
Back up or restore your information
Back up before a device move or major change. The file contains profiles, photos, and packets; keep it private. To restore, select the supported file, review the validation preview, and confirm the intended backup. Keep a separate current backup before restoring older information.
If validation fails, keep the original file and contact support with the error message. Do not manually edit the file or send the full backup as your first message. Support cannot recover local information or a lost backup it does not hold.
Sharing and privacy
Review recipients and personal details before sharing. Exports cannot be recalled. Use a device passcode and trusted file storage. SitterSide does not monitor care or provide emergency response.
